第二步是：把你所有的问题、疑惑和感受直接带到神那里，与祂倾谈。有些人视哈巴谷对神的直接质疑（一1-4）为不礼貌，但我并不认为是这样。神的儿女尽管以尖锐的问题与神对质，神并没有因此从宝座上掉下来。所以请相信我，无论你向神提甚么问题──祂都能够接受！

哈巴谷做了一件事情，是每个不明白神怎样行事的人都应该做的事──直接与神讨论那个问题。当你对世界的情况感到疑惑的时候（谁不会疑惑呢？），不要考虑与其他人探讨这些问题，要首先与神展开对话。所有的问题都必须透过讨论才能获得解决，那么还有甚么比与神讨论会更美好的呢？

We pause to gather up what we have been saying over the last few days. The Christian way is a way of complete honesty - we must be willing to face and feel unpleasant situations and feelings. There must be no attempt to deceive ourselves or pretend that things are different from the way they really are no attempt to entice the mind into a fool's paradise of make- believe. No one can play tricks on the universe - let alone the universe of a personality. So there must be no waving of a magic wand over negative feelings - no telling the mind they are not there. We must be willing to face things in the knowledge that when we are linked to Jesus Christ, nothing can master us or overwhelm us.

Now for the second step: bring all your questions, doubts and feelings directly to God and talk to Him about them. Some regard Habakkuk's direct questioning of God (1:1-4) as impertinent, but I do not see it in that light. God does not fall off His throne every time one of His children confronts Him with a searching question. Believe me, whatever question you ask of God - He can take it!

Habakkuk did what every one should do whenever they fail to comprehend the ways of the Almighty - he talked directly to God about it. So whenever you feel confused about the state of the world - and who doesn't? - don't become too concerned about entering into a dialogue with other people. First enter into a dialogue with God. Problems must always be talked out - and who better to talk to than God?
