昨天我们读到，神下来介入对抗非利士人的战争前，他给大卫一个指示，显示祂即将以超自然的方式对抗敌人。我胆敢说我相信神也在历史的这一刻给我们一些清楚的讯号，显示祂即将在这世代以祂超然的能力来行动。

我所看见的第一个讯号是人们对复兴越来越感兴趣。近年来与我谈过话的每一个基督徒领袖，几乎都告诉我他们很关心灵性复兴的问题。我也在教会颂唱的新诗歌和歌曲中听到这个信息。神正以全新和奇妙的方式触摸祂百姓的心，要他们祈求和渴望圣灵的大复兴。

我看见的第二个讯号是基督徒深深渴望忘记宗派的分歧，只视自己为在基督里的弟兄姊妹。五旬节的时候，圣灵是当使徒在一个地方「聚集」时降临的（徒二1）。

我看见的第三个讯号是各处的信徒心里都越来越渴望为复兴祈祷和代求。对复兴有兴趣是一回事，有兴趣以致花时间为复兴祈祷和代求却是另一回事。当神发现神的百姓中，关心复兴的人好像锡安的石头和尘土那样多时（正如今天的经文指出），不用多久，那些哀恸的人便会因为圣灵神圣的介入而得到安慰。

We saw yesterday that before God came down and intervened in the battle against the Philistines He gave David a sign that He was about to move in a supernatural way against the enemy. I am emboldened to say that I believe God is giving us at this hour in history some clear signs that He is about to move in great power throughout the world.

The first sign I see is an increasing interest in the subject of revival. Almost every Christian leader I have spoken to recently has talked to me about his or her concern for a spiritual revival. I hear it also in the new hymns and songs that are being written for the Church. God is touching the hearts of His people in a fresh and wonderful way to pray and expect a great Holy Spirit revival.

The second sign I see is a deep desire amongst Christians to forget denominational differences and identify themselves simply as brothers and sisters in Christ. The preparation of the first disciples at Pentecost came as they were all "with one accord" in one place (Acts 2:1, AV). A third sign I see is a growing desire in the hearts of believers everywhere to pray and intercede for revival. It is one thing to be interested in revival; it is another to be interested enough to give time to pray and intercede for it. When God finds those who are as concerned for revival as God's people were about the stones and dust of Zion (as our passage for today points out), it will not be long before those who mourn are comforted - by divine intervention.
