神是我们的避难所
诗篇四十六篇
1（可拉后裔的诗歌，交与伶长。调用女音。）神是我们的避难所，是我们的力量，是我们在患难中随时的帮助。
2所以，地虽改变，山虽摇动到海心，
3其中的水虽匉訇翻腾，山虽因海涨而战抖，我们也不害怕。（细拉）
4有一道河，这河的分汊使神的城欢喜；这城就是至高者居住的圣所。
5神在其中，城必不动摇；到天一亮，神必帮助这城。
6外邦喧嚷，列国动摇；神发声，地便镕化。
7万军之耶和华与我们同在；雅各的神是我们的避难所！（细拉）
8你们来看耶和华的作为，看他使地怎样荒凉。
9他止息刀兵，直到地极；他折弓、断枪，把战车焚烧在火中。
10你们要休息，要知道我是神！我必在外邦中被尊崇，在遍地上也被尊崇。
11万军之耶和华与我们同在；雅各的神是我们的避难所！

神是我们的避难所，换言之，神容让我们藏身在祂里面。当遇到暴风吹袭，你留在家里岂不倍感安心吗？同样地，当撒但攻击我们的时候，我们若能藏身在神的里面，岂不倍感安全？到那一刻，我们就真正体会诗人的心情了。
神也是我们的力量。我们经常表现软弱，当撒但引诱我们去犯罪的时候就尤甚。然而，神一直与我们同在，只要我们向祂呼求，祂所赐的力量便足以帮助我们去面对任何境况。我们无论落在何种患难中，祂都会成为我们随时的帮助。
我们怎能向初信的信徒说明这个真理呢？他们未必能体会诗人在这篇诗所表达的心声，然而，他们却可以从你的身上，体认到神的能力。你能否向他们讲述自己的见证，说明当你面对试探的时候，神如何在你身旁坚立你，使你不致跌倒？你能否见证自己在最软弱的时候，一向神呼求，神就赐力量给你？
你的见证，将给予初信者很大的鼓励和帮助。不过，除了见证之外，你更要切记鼓励他们多读神的话语，不单是这篇诗篇，圣经还有很多宝贵的经文，例如哥林多前书十章13节和以弗所书六章10节，都能够成为信徒的激励。
如今让我们先回到这篇诗，请再读第10节。神教导我们要做些甚么？「你们要休息，要知道我是神！」不要因为急躁而对神失去耐性。我们要等候神，让神依照祂的时间和方法来行事--只有神才知道甚么对我们最好。
祷告：
主啊，求你赐我信心，让我懂得信靠你，以致我能向别人见证你在我身上的作为。
GOD OUR REFUGE
Psalm 46
1 God is our refuge and strength,
A very present help in trouble.
2 Therefore we will not fear,
Even though the earth be removed,
And though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea;
3 Though its waters roar and be troubled,
Though the mountains shake with its swelling.Selah
4 There is a river whose streams shall make glad the city of God,
The holy place of the tabernacle of the Most High.
5 God is in the midst of her, she shall not be moved;
God shall help her, just at the break of dawn.
6 The nations raged, the kingdoms were moved;
He uttered His voice, the earth melted.
7 The LORD of hosts is with us;
The God of Jacob is our refuge.Selah
8 Come, behold the works of the LORD,
Who has made desolations in the earth.
9 He makes wars cease to the end of the earth;
He breaks the bow and cuts the spear in two;
He burns the chariot in the fire.
10 Be still, and know that I am God;
I will be exalted among the nations,
I will be exalted in the earth!
11 The LORD of hosts is with us;
The God of Jacob is our refuge.Selah
Message
God is our refuge – a place in which to hide. Have you ever had to stay inside your house while a storm was raging outside? Have you found how wonderful it is to have God as your hiding place when Satan attacks you? Then you know what the Psalmist is talking about.
God is also our strength. We seem so weak at times especially when we are being tempted to sin. But God is there with us. He can give us strength for every situation, if we will only ask him for it. He can be a very present help in times of trouble.
How can you explain these things to young Christians? They may not understand the words of this Psalm, but you could tell them what God has meant to you. Could you tell them how when you were tempted, God was there to help you stand for him? Could you tell them how to ask God for his power and strength just when they need it?
This is one of the greatest helps you could possible be to young Christians. But don’t just tell them about yourself. Make sure that you point them to what the Word of God says, not only here in this Psalm, but also in verses such as 1 Corinthians 10: 13 and Ephesians 6:10.
Turn back to the Psalm now and look at verse 10. What does God say? ‘Be still and know that I am God.’ Don’t be impatient with God. Let him work in his own time and way. It will always be best for you and yours.

Lord, help me to show someone else today what it means to really trust in you.
