你确知自己有永生吗？
约翰壹书五章7至13节
7并且有圣灵作见证，因为圣灵就是真理。
8作见证的原来有三：就是圣灵、水，与血，这三样也都归于一。
9我们既领受人的见证，神的见证更该领受了（该领受：原文作大），因神的见证是为他儿子作的。
10信神儿子的，就有这见证在他心里；不信神的，就是将神当作说谎的，因不信神为他儿子作的见证。
11这见证就是神赐给我们永生；这永生也是在他儿子里面。
12人有了神的儿子就有生命，没有神的儿子就没有生命。
13我将这些话写给你们信奉神儿子之名的人，要叫你们知道自己有永生。

今天的经文有不少斩钉截铁的话。请再看第13节。作者清楚指出，我们可以知道自己有永生。然而，许多基督徒仍然对是否得救感到怀疑。你是否确知自己有永生呢？
我们怎能确知呢？
第一， 借着相信神的话。
你当初信主的时候，既然相信基督能够拯救你；那么，你如今就必须相信神的话语对你所作出的肯定：基督确实已拯救你。倘若你对是否得救感到疑惑，就等于对基督说：「我已经尽了我的责任去决志，但你还未尽你的责任去救我」，这根本不是事实。所以，基督说祂已救了你，你只管相信便行了。
第二， 借着圣灵的见证。(罗马书八章16节)
圣经是神向我们所作的见证。圣灵则在我们心中为神作见证。圣灵告诉我们，我们是属于神的，同时，当我们做了不该做的事，圣灵也会让我们知罪。
第三， 借着生命的改变。(哥林多后书五章17节)
人若接受基督，他的生命就会出现奇妙的改变。无论是他本人和其他人，都可能需要经过一段时间才看见这改变，但它终究会出现改变，并借此证明那人已经真正重生。
你是否清楚确知自己是属乎基督的？你是不是已决志相信祂？如果你已决志，就放心相信祂的话，你的内心将得着确据。
有福的确据，耶稣属我！
何等的荣耀，向我显明！
被救主赎回，为神后嗣，
罪全得洗净，圣灵再生。
CAN YOU SAY 'I AM SURE'?
1 John 5:7-13
7 For there are three that bear witness in heaven: the Father, the Word, and the Holy Spirit; and these three are one.
8 And there are three that bear witness on earth: the Spirit, the water, and the blood; and these three agree as one.
9 If we receive the witness of men, the witness of God is greater; for this is the witness of God which He has testified of His Son.
10 He who believes in the Son of God has the witness in himself; he who does not believe God has made Him a liar, because he has not believed the testimony that God has given of His Son.
11 And this is the testimony: that God has given us eternal life, and this life is in His Son.
12 He who has the Son has life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have life.
13 These things I have written to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, that you may know that you have eternal life, and that you may continue to believe in the name of the Son of God.
Message
Our reading today makes some strong statements. Look at verse 13 again. It says plainly that we can know that we have eternal life. Yet so many Christians still have doubts about their salvation. Are you really sure yourself?
How can we be really sure?
1. By believing the Word of God.
Just as you believed at first that Christ could save you, now you need to believe his Word that he has saved you. If you doubt that he has saved you, when you asked him to do it, you are saying 'I have done my part and he hasn't done his'. Believe what he says to you today.
2. By the witness of the Spirit-Romans 8:16.
The Bible is God's witness to us. The Holy Spirit is God's witness in us. He tells us we belong to God and he corrects us when we do wrong.
3. By a changed life-2 Corinthians 5:17.
There comes a wonderful change in the life of a person who accepts Christ. It may take some time for that change to be seen by others or by the person themselves, but it will come and will show clearly that that person has been truly born again.
Are you really sure you belong to Christ? You have accepted him, haven't you? If so, then believe what he says and assurance will come to your heart.
Blessed assurance Jesus is mine,
Oh what a foretaste of glory of divine!
Heir of salvation, purchase of God,
Born of his Spirit, washed in his blood.
