基督是通往神的唯一门径
约翰福音十章1至10节
1我实实在在地告诉你们：人进羊圈，不从门进去，倒从别处爬进去，那人就是贼，就是强盗。
2从门进去的，才是羊的牧人。
3看门的就给他开门，羊也听他的声音。他按著名叫自己的羊，把羊领出来。
4既放出自己的羊来，就在前头走，羊也跟着他，因为认得他的声音。
5羊不跟着生人，因为不认得他的声音，必要逃跑。”
6耶稣将这比喻告诉他们，但他们不明白所说的是甚么意思。
7所以耶稣又对他们说：“我实实在在地告诉你们：我就是羊的门。
8凡在我以先来的，都是贼，是强盗，羊却不听他们。
9我就是门，凡从我进来的，必然得救，并且出入得草吃。
10盗贼来，无非要偷窃、杀害、毁坏；我来了，是要叫羊（注：或作“人”）得生命，并且得的更丰盛。

基督在世时，曾经作出一些直接的自我宣称，好像：「我是道路。」「我是世界的光。」「我是生命的粮。」每一个都值得我们花时间仔细了解和思想。今天的经文记述基督的另一个自我宣称：「我就是门。」基督说这句话，是在祂治好一个瞎子之后，法赛人却把瞎子赶走。基督说祂就是门，意思就是：「他们把你赶出圣殿，并不要紧。我就是门，你可以通过我这道门，进入一个更重要的地方。」
当门打开，人便可以进入里面；当门关上，人便不得进入。在门里面的人，当然感到安全稳妥；任何打扰他们的人，都会被摒诸门外。基督清楚指出，那是一道「窄门」——「从我」意味着那是唯一进入的门径。但祂加以「凡」字，就清楚表明，这道门是对任何人敞开的，随时随地可以进来。
基督就是这门，也就是说，我们要与祂建立个人化的真实关系，祂活着，并满足我们每天的需要；我们进入这门里面，便能享有真正的自由和满足。留意「出入得草吃」，除了让羊进入羊圈里面，也要把羊领出来牧放。同样地，我们进入门里面与神相交，也靠者基督喂养的灵粮，出来服侍祂。
多么奇妙福音！「必然得救」这句话更给我们莫大的肯定和确据！你还需要比这更肯定的保证吗？这句话是基督亲口说的，我们当然可以放心信靠。
CHRIST THE ONLY WAY TO GOD
John 10: 1-10
1 “Most assuredly, I say to you, he who does not enter the sheepfold by the door, but climbs up some other way, the same is a thief and a robber.
2 But he who enters by the door is the shepherd of the sheep.
3 To him the doorkeeper opens, and the sheep hear his voice; and he calls his own sheep by name and leads them out.
4 And when he brings out his own sheep, he goes before them; and the sheep follow him, for they know his voice.
5 Yet they will by no means follow a stranger, but will flee from him, for they do not know the voice of strangers.”
6 Jesus used this illustration, but they did not understand the things which He spoke to them.
7 Then Jesus said to them again, “Most assuredly, I say to you, I am the door of the sheep.
8 All who ever came before Me are thieves and robbers, but the sheep did not hear them.
9 I am the door. If anyone enters by Me, he will be saved, and will go in and out and find pasture.
10 The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.
Message
While Christ was on earth He made a number of straightforward statements such as “I am the way”, “I am the light of the world”, and “I am the bread of life”. Each one is worth our time to study and think it through. Here in our reading Christ gave us this clear picture, “I am the gate (or the door).” This verse seems to follow on the excommunication of the blind man Christ had just healed. It was almost as if he said, “Don’t be concerned if they have shut you out of the temple. I am the gate and you can come into a much more important place through me.”
A gate gives access when open and bars access when closed. It provides security for those within and shuts out others who would disturb the ones inside. Christ showed that it is a very narrow gate – “through me” means that it is the only way to enter. But He added the word “whoever” which clearly shows that the gate is open to anyone, anywhere, anytime.
The gate is Christ. In other words this means we may enter a personal living relationship with Him. We share that relationship with someone who is alive and who will meet our needs day by day. There is also a wonderful liberty and satisfaction in our position inside the gate. Did you notice the words “He will come in and go out and find pasture”? We go in for fellowship and out for service, while feeding on Christ day by day for spiritual food.
What a wonderful Gospel! What certainty and assurance there are in these words “will be saved”! Do you need any more assurance than that? Christ said it. We can believe it.
