昨天我們讀到，神下來介入對抗非利士人的戰爭前，他給大衛一個指示，顯示祂即將以超自然的方式對抗敵人。我膽敢說我相信神也在歷史的這一刻給我們一些清楚的訊號，顯示祂即將在這世代以祂超然的能力來行動。

我所看見的第一個訊號是人們對復興越來越感興趣。近年來與我談過話的每一個基督徒領袖，幾乎都告訴我他們很關心靈性復興的問題。我也在教會頌唱的新詩歌和歌曲中聽到這個信息。神正以全新和奇妙的方式觸摸祂百姓的心，要他們祈求和渴望聖靈的大復興。

我看見的第二個訊號是基督徒深深渴望忘記宗派的分歧，只視自己為在基督裡的弟兄姊妹。五旬節的時候，聖靈是當使徒在一個地方「聚集」時降臨的（徒二1）。

我看見的第三個訊號是各處的信徒心裡都越來越渴望為復興祈禱和代求。對復興有興趣是一回事，有興趣以致花時間為復興祈禱和代求卻是另一回事。當神發現神的百姓中，關心復興的人好像錫安的石頭和塵土那樣多時（正如今天的經文指出），不用多久，那些哀慟的人便會因為聖靈神聖的介入而得到安慰。

We saw yesterday that before God came down and intervened in the battle against the Philistines He gave David a sign that He was about to move in a supernatural way against the enemy. I am emboldened to say that I believe God is giving us at this hour in history some clear signs that He is about to move in great power throughout the world.

The first sign I see is an increasing interest in the subject of revival. Almost every Christian leader I have spoken to recently has talked to me about his or her concern for a spiritual revival. I hear it also in the new hymns and songs that are being written for the Church. God is touching the hearts of His people in a fresh and wonderful way to pray and expect a great Holy Spirit revival.

The second sign I see is a deep desire amongst Christians to forget denominational differences and identify themselves simply as brothers and sisters in Christ. The preparation of the first disciples at Pentecost came as they were all "with one accord" in one place (Acts 2:1, AV). A third sign I see is a growing desire in the hearts of believers everywhere to pray and intercede for revival. It is one thing to be interested in revival; it is another to be interested enough to give time to pray and intercede for it. When God finds those who are as concerned for revival as God's people were about the stones and dust of Zion (as our passage for today points out), it will not be long before those who mourn are comforted - by divine intervention.
