神是我們的避難所
詩篇四十六篇
1（可拉後裔的詩歌，交與伶長。調用女音。）神是我們的避難所，是我們的力量，是我們在患難中隨時的幫助。
2所以，地雖改變，山雖搖動到海心，
3其中的水雖匉訇翻騰，山雖因海漲而戰抖，我們也不害怕。（細拉）
4有一道河，這河的分汊使神的城歡喜；這城就是至高者居住的聖所。
5神在其中，城必不動搖；到天一亮，神必幫助這城。
6外邦喧嚷，列國動搖；神發聲，地便鎔化。
7萬軍之耶和華與我們同在；雅各的神是我們的避難所！（細拉）
8你們來看耶和華的作為，看他使地怎樣荒涼。
9他止息刀兵，直到地極；他折弓、斷槍，把戰車焚燒在火中。
10你們要休息，要知道我是神！我必在外邦中被尊崇，在遍地上也被尊崇。
11萬軍之耶和華與我們同在；雅各的神是我們的避難所！
信息分享
神是我們的避難所，換言之，神容讓我們藏身在祂裡面。當遇到暴風吹襲，你留在家裡豈不倍感安心嗎？同樣地，當撒但攻擊我們的時候，我們若能藏身在神的裡面，豈不倍感安全？到那一刻，我們就真正體會詩人的心情了。
神也是我們的力量。我們經常表現軟弱，當撒但引誘我們去犯罪的時候就尤甚。然而，神一直與我們同在，只要我們向祂呼求，祂所賜的力量便足以幫助我們去面對任何境況。我們無論落在何種患難中，祂都會成為我們隨時的幫助。
我們怎能向初信的信徒說明這個真理呢？他們未必能體會詩人在這篇詩所表達的心聲，然而，他們卻可以從你的身上，體認到神的能力。你能否向他們講述自己的見證，說明當你面對試探的時候，神如何在你身旁堅立你，使你不致跌倒？你能否見證自己在最軟弱的時候，一向神呼求，神就賜力量給你？
你的見證，將給予初信者很大的鼓勵和幫助。不過，除了見證之外，你更要切記鼓勵他們多讀神的話語，不單是這篇詩篇，聖經還有很多寶貴的經文，例如哥林多前書十章13節和以弗所書六章10節，都能夠成為信徒的激勵。
如今讓我們先回到這篇詩，請再讀第10節。神教導我們要做些甚麼？「你們要休息，要知道我是神！」不要因為急躁而對神失去耐性。我們要等候神，讓神依照祂的時間和方法來行事--只有神才知道甚麼對我們最好。
禱告：
主啊，求你賜我信心，讓我懂得信靠你，以致我能向別人見證你在我身上的作為。
GOD OUR REFUGE
Psalm 46
1 God is our refuge and strength,
A very present help in trouble.
2 Therefore we will not fear,
Even though the earth be removed,
And though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea;
3 Though its waters roar and be troubled,
Though the mountains shake with its swelling.Selah
4 There is a river whose streams shall make glad the city of God,
The holy place of the tabernacle of the Most High.
5 God is in the midst of her, she shall not be moved;
God shall help her, just at the break of dawn.
6 The nations raged, the kingdoms were moved;
He uttered His voice, the earth melted.
7 The LORD of hosts is with us;
The God of Jacob is our refuge.Selah
8 Come, behold the works of the LORD,
Who has made desolations in the earth.
9 He makes wars cease to the end of the earth;
He breaks the bow and cuts the spear in two;
He burns the chariot in the fire.
10 Be still, and know that I am God;
I will be exalted among the nations,
I will be exalted in the earth!
11 The LORD of hosts is with us;
The God of Jacob is our refuge.Selah
Message
God is our refuge – a place in which to hide. Have you ever had to stay inside your house while a storm was raging outside? Have you found how wonderful it is to have God as your hiding place when Satan attacks you? Then you know what the Psalmist is talking about.
God is also our strength. We seem so weak at times especially when we are being tempted to sin. But God is there with us. He can give us strength for every situation, if we will only ask him for it. He can be a very present help in times of trouble.
How can you explain these things to young Christians? They may not understand the words of this Psalm, but you could tell them what God has meant to you. Could you tell them how when you were tempted, God was there to help you stand for him? Could you tell them how to ask God for his power and strength just when they need it?
This is one of the greatest helps you could possible be to young Christians. But don’t just tell them about yourself. Make sure that you point them to what the Word of God says, not only here in this Psalm, but also in verses such as 1 Corinthians 10: 13 and Ephesians 6:10.
Turn back to the Psalm now and look at verse 10. What does God say? ‘Be still and know that I am God.’ Don’t be impatient with God. Let him work in his own time and way. It will always be best for you and yours.

Lord, help me to show someone else today what it means to really trust in you.
