主要用它
馬可福音十一章1至11節
1耶穌和門徒將近耶路撒冷，到了伯法其和伯大尼，在橄欖山那裡；耶穌就打發兩個門徒，
2對他們說：你們往對面村子裡去，一進去的時候，必看見一匹驢駒拴在那裡，是從來沒有人騎過的，可以解開，牽來。
3若有人對你們說：為甚麼作這事？你們就說：主要用他。那人必立時讓你們牽來。
4他們去了，便看見一匹驢駒拴在門外街道上，就把他解開。
5在那裡站著的人，有幾個說：你們解驢駒作甚麼？
6門徒照著耶穌所說的回答，那些人就任憑他們牽去了。
7他們把驢駒牽到耶穌那裡，把自己的衣服搭在上面，耶穌就騎上。
8有許多人把衣服鋪在路上，也有人把田間的樹枝砍下來，鋪在路上。
9前行後隨的人都喊著說：和散那（和散那：原有求救的意思，在此乃是稱頌的話）！奉主名來的是應當稱頌的！
10那將要來的我祖大衛之國是應當稱頌的！高高在上和散那！
11耶穌進了耶路撒冷，入了聖殿，周圍看了各樣物件。天色已晚，就和十二個門徒出城，往伯大尼去了。

你有沒有想過，主叫門徒去找的那個驢駒主人究竟是誰。主耶穌是否已預早跟這位主人安排妥當，向他借用驢駒？或者，祂打發門徒去到這位主人面前說「主要用牠」，那個主人就真的聽命讓門徒把驢駒牽去？此外，你有沒有想過，基督這句說話，也暗示祂用完之後，會把牠交還給主人？
我們應該常常緊記「主要用它」這句話。例如，主可能呼召我們的兒女去某個地方，參與一項特別的事奉工作。我們可能不捨得他離去，可是，因著我們對主的信任和愛，我們便放心地對兒女說：「主要用你，你去吧！」
又或是，教會中有某位信徒因搬家的原故，要參與另一間教會聚會。我們的教會正急需人手，主為何打發他離去呢？答案是：主要在另一個地方用他；而我們要相信，主的計劃是最好的。
當我們失去某個摯愛的人，或要捨棄某件心愛的東西，我們都可以從這個角度來理解神的心意。當我們的摯愛親人離我們而去，我們在傷痛之餘，一定會不明白神為何要帶走他；也許，正是這一刻，我們要憑著謙卑的順服與最大的信心，相信是因為「主要用他」，所以，他要暫時被主帶走。
請記著，主用完驢駒之後，便會將牠交還主人。身為主人的，豈不因為得到主的揀選，選用他的驢駒而感到萬分榮幸嗎？他豈不為此而感謝主嗎？因此，我們要記著，我們獻給主用的東西，主會交還給我們，而且，祂更會連同祂的祝福與賞賜一併給予我們。所以，主說要用的，我們就只管歡喜快樂地獻給祂用，因為主必善用，且會給我們賞賜。
THE LORD HAS NEED OF IT
Mark 11:1-11
1 Now when they drew near Jerusalem, to Bethphage and Bethany, at the Mount of Olives, He sent two of His disciples;
2 and He said to them, “Go into the village opposite you; and as soon as you have entered it you will find a colt tied, on which no one has sat.Loose it and bring it.
3 And if anyone says to you, ‘Why are you doing this? ’ say, ‘The Lord has need of it, ’ and immediately he will send it here.”
4 So they went their way, and found the colt tied by the door outside on the street, and they loosed it.
5 But some of those who stood there said to them, “What are you doing, loosing the colt? ”
6 And they spoke to them just as Jesus had commanded.So they let them go.
7 Then they brought the colt to Jesus and threw their clothes on it, and He sat on it.
8 And many spread their clothes on the road, and others cut down leafy branches from the trees and spread them on the road.
9 Then those who went before and those who followed cried out, saying:
“ Hosanna!
‘ Blessed is He who comes in the name of the LORD!’
10 Blessed is the kingdom of our father David
That comes in the name of the Lord!
Hosanna in the highest!”
11 And Jesus went into Jerusalem and into the temple.So when He had looked around at all things, as the hour was already late, He went out to Bethany with the twelve.
Message
Have you ever thought about the man who owned the colt that the Lord used to ride into Jerusalem? Who was he? Had the Lord already talked to him and made arrangements about using the donkey? Or were the simple words 'The word has need of it' sufficient explanation for him to let the disciples take colt away? Did you notice also the promise to send the animal back when Christ had finished with it?
Those six words 'the Lord has need of it' ought to be used by us a little more often. For example, the Lord may call one of our children into his special service. We will not like to see them go, but in love for Christ we can simply say 'the Lord has need of you'.
Or it may be that one of our church members moves away just when we feel we need them so much. Why does the Lord move them away? The answer is that he has need of them somewhere else, and his plans are always perfect.
The same can apply to our giving or to many other things in our lives. It can even be written over the passing of one of our loved ones. We sometimes do not understand why they are taken. Perhaps that is the time to say again in humble faith and submission 'the Lord has need of him'.
Remember, the Lord sent the colt back too. Don't you think the owner would always thank God for the privilege of serving in this way? It is still true that the Lord gives back to us whatever we give to him. With it he always gives added blessing and reward. Isn't it a joy to be able to give to God?
